What I learned in chapter 13 is to use logos in the argument. The book says, " a fool may tell, but a wise man speaks". Start with a truth, follow it with a truth and then you must end it with a truth. Logos appeals to a person logic. It is also a defensive method used in this chapter. In this chapter this is when you apply the logos to achieve your own goals. Use an enthymeme, it takes a commonplace- a belief, values or attitude- and uses it as the first step. Then premise comes, and that the proof. Last you have the conclusion which is the choice you want your audience to make.
